A story about nuclear tests, secret deals, and unintended consequences

For this second Video of the Day, we're staying in about the same time period as yesterday's edition.

This time, Dr. Derek Muller of Veritasium tells an obscure part of the Trinity bomb test story: Kodak, on the other side of the country, was the first to detect evidence that the project had detonated an atomic bomb. With plenty of graphs, wonderfully designed animations, and of course archival footage, he explains just how they determined the source of their defective products and the lengths the government went to to keep the project a secret.

Videos by Veritasium range from physics to math, from genetics to proving or disproving myths.

An element of truth - videos about science, education, and anything else I find interesting.
